The Origin

In the Southern hemisphere of a quaint old town, there lived a girl whose world was illuminated by stories. She was so engrossed in her imaginary universe of novels and tales that she would turn a blind eye to everything around her. ""COME TO DINNER!" her mother would cry out to her, but she would be hiding under the table or sometimes even behind the door, with all her senses captivated by her beloved books. Her heart would yearn for more, and she would never want the stories to end. Each new story left her burning with curiosity. She escaped from one world to another in no time!

Growing up in her land of stories and imagination, she believes that everyone and everything around us has a back-story that has shaped us into who we are today. There's a little magic and the power to bring change in someone's life through every narrative, hence the name SHVALK (श्वल्क्). (A Sanskrit word which means 'to narrate'.)

Created by Dikshita Falor, the brand is an amalgamation of mesmerizing stories and cultures from all over the world. Thus, from Shvalk's (श्वल्क्) brand identity to all its products, be it Resort Wear or Fusion Wear for women; everything has its own personality and narrates a unique story.
